SINE DIE
Each session, we wait for the gavels to fall and for the words, “the House and Senate are adjourned Sine Die.”
“Sine Die”' is a Latin term for “without another day;” however, we all know it as the end of another Legislative Session. For Latin aficionados, the correct way to pronounce it is “See-Nay Dee-A.” Of course, the Texas translation is “Sigh-Knee-Die.”
Sine Die is available as a limited edition, signed (by Ray Spivey) and numbered lithograph of 500 prints.
We also have posters and note cards featuring this image of the sun setting behind the Senate side of the Capitol.
As with all our artwork, your satisfaction is guaranteed, and we offer free shipping. Thank you for your interest!
